What You Will Learn
- 1- Day Course 8 CEU's
- Students will learn a 30-minute seated protocol in both the prone and supine positions. They will be able to incorporate this knowledge into a typical 60- or 90-minute massage session. Complete with therapeutic add-ons such as essential oils, hot towels, and a neck warmer.
- 3- day Course 25 CEU's
- Students learn the seated protocol in both prone and supine positions. They will also learn how to perform a full body 90-minute massage using their feet by utilizing the overhead bars for Ashiatsu training.
- Students will learn how to incorporate therapeutic modalities such as essential oils, hot towels, and the use of a neck warmer. This is a simple way for massage therapists to be set apart in the industry!
- Field Trip! Students will create their own massage cream using organic ingredients on our field trip to a local Amish farm. This farm also has a unique store in which the therapist can purchase all kinds of organic products such as essential oils, different types of carrier oils, Shea butter, and more!
About The Instructor
Jana Leigh Sheaffer has been a massage therapist since 2004. She is a graduate of Lansdale School of Business and has worked in the salon/spa industry for over 30 years.
She has worked for a number of prestigious spas such Hotel Hershey and Salamander Resort and Spa.
Jana Leigh is an author and motivational speaker, and loves to share the information that she has gained throughout her 30+ year career.
